BELIEVE THE LOVE!

     As I walked into a small church in the Ukraine, there was only a handful of elderly people sitting inside solemn and expressionless. It was here that I fully got to know the love of God in action. As I was sharing the word of God, I was intensely compelled to tell the people that I loved them. By doing so, I became so overwhelmed with His divine love and compassion that I found myself walking into their midst laying hands on each one of them.

     God's love was flowing through me as I literally loved them with His love. His sweet presence flooded the room and each one received a loving touch from Him. God poured out His healing, deliverance and infilling of inexpressible joy. Because of this wonderful experience, I could begin to understand 1 John 4:16 - "And we have known and believed the love that God has for us."

     Many of you probably have not experienced the love of God in action this way, and although we might quote John 3:16 or read and hear testimonies about God's love, we don't act like we really believe it. If we did, everything in our lives would totally change because God's love covers every area of our lives.

     It does not matter if you don't know if you are lost or loved. God so loved the world that if you believe in Jesus you will have eternal life (John 3:16). BELIEVE THE LOVE!

     It does not matter how bad your past is, God loves you just the way your are. He does however, love you too much to let you stay that way. God loves you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3). BELIEVE THE LOVE!

     It does not matter how sick you are, Jesus loved you so much that He was willing to take 39 brutal stripes on His back for your healing (1 Peter 2:24). He bore all your sickness diseases and pain. He was wounded and crushed for your sins. He was beaten to give you peace, and by His stripes you are healed (Isaiah 53:4-5).  BELIEVE THE LOVE!

     It does not matter what causes you to worry. Give all your worries and cares to God for He cares about what happens to you (1 Peter 5:7). No matter how heavy the burdens of life are, Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)  BELIEVE THE LOVE!

     It does not matter if you feel unworthy of His love. Come boldly to the throne of your gracious God. There you will receive His mercy, and you will find grace to help you when you need it (Hebrews 4:16)  BELIEVE THE LOVE!

     God is so in love with you that He has given you everything He has! He has given you all the peace and power, all the health and healing, all the wealth, wisdom and strength, or whatever you will ever need. He has given you all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). The love of God has been released by the precious blood of Jesus and given as a promise to you in His word. All you have to do now is believe and receive His love and let you life be changed. BELIEVE THE LOVE!
