STEPS TO INCREASE

Have you ever had to endure a one-hour video online to find out how to do something that could have been summarized in five minutes?  Do you get frustrated clicking “NEXT” continuously and never getting to the bottom line?  I am not going to put you through that - especially with a topic I so wonderfully experience and God wants you to have.  Let me cut to the chase when it comes to finding out how to walk in divine increase in three simple steps:

BELIEVE IT

It is God’s will for each born-again believer to increase in every area of life.  It has been God’s desire from the beginning for us to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28). Psalm 115:14 declares, the Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.  Throughout the Bible, God makes it known He wants for His people to be blessed and increase with prosperity in spirit, soul, and body.  God’s Word will always accomplish His will (Isaiah 55:11), and since it is impossible for God to lie (Hebrews 6:18), believing this truth will change your perspective and expectations.  Then as you grow in your faith in what God says, your words and actions will reflect God’s will.

SPEAK IT

Faith-filled words are a powerful creative force.  God calls things into existence (Romans 4:17), and you should too.  You have been created into the image of God.  Just as He spoke creation into being, you can speak increase into whatever area you are lacking.  By believing and speaking by faith that the promises of God will come to pass; you will have whatever you say (Mark 11:23).  You were created for increase, so get the Word abundantly in your heart, speak it in power, and you will enjoy the blessings of it.

ACT IT 

Increase is not a one-time event.  It takes your choice to consistently believe it’s God’s will for increase to be active. This is done by meditating on the Word and speaking words of faith. Then it is just as important to continue to take practical steps in obedience with God’s Word.  Seek God’s kingdom first (Matthew 6:33) and guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23) from all doubt and any negative influences.  Realize your actions will be contrary to the world’s way of doing things.  But by acting on God’s Word, along with your faith-filled belief and words, you will experience increase.   

These three steps are simple, but not easy.  If they were easy, everyone would be doing them.  Bottom line is that increase is absolutely the will of God for you!  The Word of God is the will of God. Therefore, prioritize God’s Word in your life by believing it whole-heartedly, speaking it boldly, and acting on it consistently in order to enjoy your  STEPS TO INCREASE.
